The TZ Glashütte Original Off-Center Series 1-90-02 watch is a replica of the Cal. 90-02 three-quarter German movement, crafted over three years from the original. It features a double-jump date display, exquisitely finished 3/4 of the movement, a fully functional daytime running indicator at 2 o'clock, a 40mm diameter, and blued steel hands. The dial layout follows the golden ratio, with the hour/minute and small seconds sub-dials positioned slightly to the left, vertically aligned. The large date and sophisticated moon phase display are below and to the upper right, respectively. Rhodium-plated silver hour markers are positioned below the blued steel hour, minute, and second hands. The unique large date display and the silver moon and stars against a deep blue night sky in the moon phase display further enhance the watch's perfection. The watch employs a 3/4 plate design, which supports the time train. During assembly, multiple pivots must be aligned simultaneously, requiring skillful hands, meticulous attention, and considerable time and effort to complete. Compared to the traditional structure consisting of several bridges, the 3/4 plate significantly improves the stability of the movement. Furthermore, the 3/4 plate not only reduces gear pitch tolerances but also makes the movement more resistant to contamination. A BBA on your wrist—you deserve it.
